Carolyn McCoy- DIRECTOR
Carolyn came to us with experience in the private sector, public school system, full-time daycare, in-home childcare and is very happy to be back in a faith based center that is licensed and follows state standards for education. Her education in Tennessee includes certification of achievement with the Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance, and degrees in education with Volunteer State Community College and Tennessee State University. She and her husband, John, have 2 grown children. Their son lives in Colorado and their daughter lives in Spain. In her free time, Carolyn enjoys digging in the dirt, reading just about anything, traveling to new places and having her feet in the sand.
Rainey Ray- TWO’s
Ms Rainey moved in the teaching position after working at PDS as a Teacher’s Aide. Her energy, youthfulness and team-spirit have added to all of us. PDS is truly blessed to have her on staff. Rainey grew up in White House, TN. Her technical training and education is in Early Childhood Education. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, family and friends.
Rosalie Lewis- THREES
Ms. Rosi has been a preschool teacher since 1977, and teaching is an absolute passion of hers. Each year is full of fun, learning, and lots of adventure. Her education includes a Childhood Association Certification and a Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance Certification for center-based education. In her free time, Ms.Rosi enjoys bowling, dancing, visiting with the elderly and writing childrens' poems and songs.
Becky Jelinek - PreK
Becky and her family moved from California to Tennessee. Miss Becky has 26 years of experience teaching Pre-K classes and was a Director at one time too. She is thrilled to have found PDS and we are equally thrilled to have her on staff. Her Early Childhood Education was at Fullerton College in Fullerton, CA. Becky has amazing attention to detail, is a team player, loves the Lord, and maintains a great rapport with her parents. She is a wonderful asset to our team at PDS
Ashley Romain - PreK
Ashley has 28 years of experience teaching in a preschool environment. Those who have worked with Ms. Ashley admire her natural way with children. She is creative, caring and takes pride in "her children" and their educational achievements. Her education includes Child Development Association Certification for center-based education and a Technical Certification from Volunteer State. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family.

Extra hands, extra eyes, substitutes when needed, aides that we couldn't do without in the day to day operations here at the center.
